Benji Schwimmer & Torri Smith are the current US Open Swing Dance Champions in the Showcase Division! Benji was voted Americas Favorite Dancer on the hit show So You Think You Can Dance(Season 2). Later, he went on to choreograph for both the US and International versions of the show, as well as Idol, MTV, VH1, Americas Got Talent, and Dancing With The Stars. Benji works as an Artistic Director and Choreographer for some of the Worlds Biggest Pop Stars. He has won nine US Open Titles, and has choreographed more winning US Open routines than any other person. Benji co-starred in the 2010 film Leading Ladies. In addition to his talents as a dancer, Benji is also a songwriter, producer, and vocalist for the band The Weekend Forecast.  Torri  lives in Murrieta, CA and has been dancing since she was 3. She concentrated on jazz, tap and ballet early on until she was introduced to West Coast Swing by Buddy and Laurie Schwimmer (Kauffman). Since partnering in 2007, Brennar & Torri have won the youth US Open Youth Swing titles for 2007, 2008, and 2009. Torri also became the first female competitor to win both the Showcase and the Classic divisions at the US Open.

Kyle Redd & Sarah Vann Drake (CA) have been on the forefront of innovative west coast swing for over 20 years. Residing in Fresno, California, Kyle Redd & Sarah Vann Drake are the holders of 11 US Open titles, are five time NASDE champions, and eight time Grand National Champions, and they are the only couple to hold US Open Swing Championship titles in both the Showcase and Classic divisions. Competing together for over 12 years, they are known for their smooth footwork and precise, and direct teaching styles. Kyle and Sarah have choreographed and performed over 24 routines. Travelling all over the world, Kyle & Sarah teach both the fundamental roots of west coast swing, and their own modern styles.
Robert & Nicola Royston. Robert is one of the most successful competitive dancers in Country and Swing, winning many World and US Open titles. He is also a member of the UCWDC Hall of Fame. Together, Robert and Nicola have won multiple Showcase Swing Championships, Division 1 Country Grand Championships, and Cabaret titles. They hold multiple strictly swing and jack & jill titles, and are Top 5 NASDE finishers. They have performed on numerous NYC Stages and on television shows, have choreographed for artists like Kellie Pickler, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, and for films such as “Love N’ Dancing.” As internationally recognized judges and teachers, the pair travels, teaching, judging and performing their exciting choreography year-round. www.robertandnicola.com
Greg Scott & Lemery Rollins (MD) have over 20 years dancing experience combined.  Greg started in American Ballroom but competed in country winning many titles.  He also has a background in ballet, jazz and hip hop.  Lemery started in International 10 Dance (both Ballroom and Latin) and won many titles including: 3rd in the world pro/am 10 dance, 5Th in the world and 3rd in the USA pro/am Latin.  She is also skilled in American Ballroom, Salsa, and Argentine Tango.  Greg and Lemery are currently focusing on West Coast Swing, Greg winning many All-Star J&J and Strictlys. Together they have solidified their place within the top 5 couples in Showcase Division this year and are both currently at the top of the NASDE tour.  They are a unique couple who are excited to be dancing their third routine together.  They are nurturing instructors who believe that a strong foundation leads to a higher obtainable level and look forward to sharing their love of dance with you. 
Jason Miklic & Sophy Kdep are professional dance instructors, choreographers and performers based in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.  They travel all over the country teaching, competing, performing, coaching and judging at dance events and dance studios.  They encourage everyone to Live like there’s no tomorrow, Love without prejudice, Laugh often & DANCE from the heart. www.jasonandsophy.com/
Markus Smith & Trendlyon Veal. Markus Smith is an accomplished and award winning dance competitor, choreographer and instructor. He has been featured on Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance”, BET’s “106 and Park” program, and the movie Love N’ Dancing. He was a co-host of DC DANCING TEENS, a youth hand dance show that has been seen on Globaldancetv and shown on DCTV channel 95 in Washington DC. Trendlyon Veal is a dance instructor, choreographer, and competitor with over seven years of competition and teaching experience. She has placed first in a number of Jack and Jill, Pro Am and Strictly Swing competitions. Markus and Trendlyon are both Tri State Connection Champions. Together they travel across the United States and internationally teaching, competing, judging, and performing at National Swing Dance events, in addition to volunteer and community outreach. They both routinely place among the top 5 in professional competitive divisions and as performers, their entertainment value is unmatched.
Dean & Dawn Garrish (MD) are two of the most prominent teachers of both country and west coast swing dance in the Maryland/DC area. They have been teaching and competing in the dance community for over 25 years. With extensive knowledge in competitive dancing they have won two UCWDC World Titles, 6 US Open Swing Titles, and over 50 Top Teacher Awards. Dean and Dawn are legends of the dance world and continue to influence dancers of all levels seeking to refine their skills.
Diego Borges and Jessica Pacheco (Brazil) Diego Borges has earned a degree in Physical Education from the Federal University of Ceará specializing in Dance Teaching Methodology. Jessica Pacheco is a graduate with a degree in  Accounting Sciences from the Federal University of Ceará. They are one of the pioneers in teaching West Coast Swing in South America and the first Brazilians’ to win an official competition in West Coast Swing. Diego & Jessica also hope to spread Zouk, one of the most widespread dances in Brazil, to the world outside.
Currently, this very unique couple is traveling; teaching and spreading Zouk, and other Brazilian dances, and West Coast Swing to Brazil, Europe and the United States.
Kellese Key (TX) has a resume one millions can only dream about achieving!  She has danced all of her life, starting at the age of 2 with extensive training in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Clogging, and Theatre.  Coming into the Swing Dance scene in 1991, she quickly moved up the ranks winning her first US Open title within 3 years in the Showcase division.  Shortly after winning her first title, she was honored with the Feather Award for Best Showcase Dancer, an award voted on by her peers and the general dance population.  In 1996, Kellese met her life and love partner, Brent Key.  After two short years of partnering, they won their first US Open title together in the Classic division, thus making Kellese the first female to ever win a title in both the Showcase and the Classic divisions at the US Open.  With Brent coming from the Carolina Shag World, and Kellese from the West Coast Swing World, they created a fusion quickly labeled by the dance community as Swag!  There is not enough paper to list all of Kellese’s accomplishments but her highlights include: 10 US Open Titles, of which 7 were in the prestigious Classic and Showcase divisions,  6 USA Grand National Titles in both Classic and Showcase, a World Swing Dance Championship Title in the Showcase division,  2007 Impact Couple of the Year,  2009 Induction into the Dallas D.A.N.C.E Hall of Fame and after all of this competition, Kellese’s passion for life and dance continue to infect dancers all across the globe!  Today, Kellese Key still travels around teaching, competing, judging and choreographing for her favorite dance of all time and is the proud owner/creator of Swank Dance Fitness, her latest venture in an attempt to expose West Coast Swing “One Triple Step at a Time”!!
Taletha Jouzdani (TX) has confidently progressed in the NASDE Swing circuit. In 2010, she took 2nd place Female in the Nationwide Tour, as a result of consistent top 5 placements in the Classic Division with her previous partner Jake Haning. Their “Soul Man” and “It Hurts So Bad” routines showed their diversity in style and attitude and were certain crowd pleasers.  In 2011, she formed a new Classic partnership with Luis Crespo. Their newest routine to Matt White's "She's on Fire" was choreographed in three short days right before the biggest competition of the year, the US OPEN. They enjoyed this challenge and find that the routine really shows off both their individual and partnership strengths. They both have an extensive background teaching and dancing all forms of partner dancing. They are known for their grace and passion on the dance floor and their comedic chemistry in the classroom. Taletha is a two-time US OPEN Jack & Jill finalist and received 2nd place in the prestigious Nasde Jack & Jill tour in 2009. She is currently competing Jack & Jills and Strictlys at the Champion level. Many admirers have described her dancing as clean, playful, sensual and classy.  Taletha has been teaching partner dancing for over 14 years and is known for her ability to create the perfect balance of technical and playful in her instruction. Common themes in her workshops are musicality, creating a balanced dance, and dance as a conversation. She prefers to teach thematically to encourage both retention and entertainment value. In 2011, she organized an event called Austin Rocks which helped put Austin on the map in the WC Swing community. Kay Newhouse (MD) is known for her playful and musical dance style, clarity of teaching, and friendly warmth. An enthusiastic participant in the thriving DC West Coast Swing scene since the mid 90s, and a successful national competitor and teacher for fifteen years, Kay believes that even as comps add excitement and focus to our shared experience, the one-on-one creativity of the social floor is the most essential expression of the legacy and future of West Coast Swing. Debra Lynn Tuttle (MD) Debbie Lynn Tuttle is a full-time professional dance instructor in the Washington DC, Northern VA and MD region. She is a UCWDC Champion, Pro-Am Instructor, and Dance Event Coordinator. Lessons include individual, couple, group classes, specialty workshops with a concentration in West Coast Swing (WCS) and Hustle dance styles, as well as providing private lessons in most of the ballroom dances. Her dance roots go back to days in ballet, jazz, modern, improv, hula and international ballroom and she studies extensively with many top professionals plus has the distinction of being a Premier West Coast Swing Dancer. Her experience and accomplishments in the dance community provide her students with an extensive knowledge base to learn and grow. She knows what it takes to become an accomplished dancer. Gary Jobst (NC) Gary teaches, judges and performs all over the United States and Europe. Hi as been teaching and dancing for more than 25 years and his experience as a chief judge covers more than a decade. Gary's reputation as a fair, well organized and impartial chief judge is undisputed. His “Competition tips” workshops have been a huge success everywhere they are given, his straight forward, honest and humorous approach to competition makes these classes invaluable. Gary has a love for teaching that is very evident in his workshops and private lessons. John Lindo (CA) After beginning in country-western dance in 1992, John Lindo quickly made his mark on the West Coast Swing circuit by garnering an astonishing number of awards and championships in Jack-and-Jills and Strictly Swings. Some of his First Place awards include the U.S. Open, Grand Nationals, Phoenix Champion of Champions. He is also sought after internationally for his experience and teaching, having traveled to five countries in the past year alone. John currently resides in New Jersey and Northern California and is an influential presence in the New York City West Coast Swing scene.
Jason Barnes (NC) or "Jzone" is tall.  He’s not the most politically correct teacher in the business, but that is one of the many things that make him unique. He encourages group interaction with back and forth communication in his workshops.  “Never be afraid to ask me a question or tell me a joke.” He is also a choreographer, MC, coach, judge, DJ, performer and competitor who has won over 350 titles over his 18 year dance career.  Along with a West Coast Swing, U.S. Open Team title, and the 2-Step Across America National Championship, Jason has earned many Top Teacher awards in Ballroom, Country Western, Hustle and West Coast Swing. www.westcoastswingzone.com

Debbie Ramsey Boz (Raleigh, NC) Co Director & Artistic Director of MAD Academy and the only Swing Dance Hall of Fame Dancer in North Carolina.  She has over 50 years dance experience and over 37 years experience as a professional choreographer, actor, dancer and educator. While living in Los Angles she made her film debut as a fresh 16 year old dancing, horseback riding and choreographing for feature films, commercials and television shows. Some of her partners and students have been, Donald Sutherland, Brendon Frasier, Sylvester Stallone and Dolly Parton.  Her film and television dance credits include lead dancer with Donald Sutherland in Younger And Younger, Back To The Future 1 & 2, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Hill Street Blues, Murder She Wrote, Simon & Simon, The Fall Guy and Major Dad. As an educator and choreographer for the social dance communities, Debbie is considered a Grand Master Instructor. This Three Time Winner of the Feather Award for "Top Female Teacher in the United States" travels Nationally and Internationally instructing at teacher training seminars and educating thousands of dancers each year in the art of dance. Debbie is a Two Time Humanitarian Award Winner on both the East and West Coast for her impact on and support of Swing Dance Communities across the Nation. John Festa (NY) born into a family of dancers, was dancing since the beginning. Growing up in New York, John was taught Lindy Hop, and fell in love with west coast swing to become a pivotal figure in both the local and national west coast swing scenes. He is trained and greatly experienced in many styles of Swing. Louis St. George (NH) is a full-time professional DJ. Serving primarily the west coast swing and line dance crowds, Louis travels year-round providing the highest quality music for dancers of all types. With over 30 years of DJ experience, DJ Louie is never missing what to play next, and loves keeping a dance floor rocking.
Katie Fallon (OH) is a West Coast Swing and Hustle DJ from Ohio who loves sharing her passion of music. In 2011 she was introduced and trained by a fellow DJ and started DJing for local dances around Cleveland. As time passes, Katie continues to inspire people at dances and events in the Midwest and progressively around the United States. Her goal is to work hard on providing the best experience through social and competition music alike! “
Tim Johnson (MI) has been a professional DJ for over 13 years. Locally in Flint Michigan, he both teaches and DJs a variety of dances year round. He has years of study in music, science, physics, electronics and computers. Travelling to many dance weekend events he has had the pleasure of using his talents, and working with some of the best in the business. Tim considers a great DJ to be more than a collection of equipment, but an artist, entertainer, and technician.
